S'mores Bars

 1/2 c butter, softened

1/2 c shortening

3/4 c sugar

3/4 c brown sugar

2 eggs, room temp

2 t vanilla

2 2/3 c flour

2 tsp baking powder

1/4 tsp salt

1 1/2 c graham cracker crumbs (8 crushed crackers)

2 c milk chocolate chips

2 c mini marshmallows

Preheat oven to 350. Grease a 9x13 pan. Cream together butter, shortening, sugars for 2 minutes. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each, then add vanilla. Gradually stir in flour, baking powder and salt. Add cracker crumbs. Set aside about 1 cup of dough for topping.

Press remaining dough into greased pan. Spread chocolate chips evenly over dough and press lightly. Evenly sprinkle mini marshmallows over chocolate chips.  Use your finger to flatten pieces of topping dough into various sizes and place evenly over the marshmallows. 

Bake at 350 for 25 minutes or just until golden around the edges. Cool completely before cutting into squares.

*can use just butter instead of shortening and this recipe is easily halved.
