Sweet and Sour Meatballs

Meatballs
1 pound hamburger
salt and pepper to taste
1/3 cup breadcrumbs
1 egg
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup finally chopped onions
Combine ingredients and mix with your hands.
Roll mixture into balls and fry in a skillet browning on all sides. Cover with a lid and simmer to cook thoroughly. Remove the meatballs from the skillet and set aside.

Sauce
3 tablespoons cornstarch
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup white vinegar
Juice from a 20 ounce can of pineapple tidbits (reserving tidbits for later)
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1/3 bell pepper, chopped
1/3 onion, chopped
Mix cornstarch with brown sugar until there are no lumps. Add vinegar, pineapple juice, and soy sauce. Heat sauce in skillet on medium heat. Stir continuously until sauce thickens.
Add 1/4 to 1/2 cup of water to thin to the desired consistency.  One sauce is thick, remove from heat and add pepper and onion.
Serve with rice.

White rice

2 cups water
1 cup rice
Bring water to a boil, add the rice. Cover with a lid, reduce heat and simmer for 15-20 minutes.
